Anoka-Hennepin Schools Aquatics - Pool Shift Supervisors in Anoka, Minnesota

Aquatics - Pool Shift Supervisors Part-Time - up to 10 hours/week Weekday evenings, Saturdays 8:30 am - 4:00 pm; Sunday evenings 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm; Possible additional hours due to rentals, Must be avaialbe a munimum of two weekends per month. Location: Roosevelt Middle Duties: Responsible for opening and closing facility. Manage admission and registration. Assist with observation and evaluation of swim instructors and lifeguards. Attend and co-lead monthly staff inservice training. Communicate regularly with Aquatics Supervisor regarding pool/lesson issues. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience supervising and training staff. Experience in teaching swim lessons, lifeguarding, and swim coaching (all or some combination of experience). Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills. Current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certificate in Lifeguarding or the ability to acquire certification in the first six months of hire. Ability to work with large groups of people. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Must be physically working in the building.
