Robert Half HR Generalist (Laurie P) in Duluth, Georgia

Description We are partnering with a well-respected client to find a talented Human Resource Generalist to come aboard a high performing team. The main focus of the HR Generalist will involve completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. Main assignments will involve comparing HR laws to current policies and procedures, drafting templates for HR documents and working with other members of the department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for company employees. Responsibilities

  • Preserve physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records

  • Apply HR software to manage payroll and employee benefits, including bonuses, leaves, and absences administration

  • Craft official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters

  • Create employee satisfaction surveys and give actionable insights to improve employees experience

  • Collaborate with outside vendors, upper management, and employees to maintain CSR standards conscripted by authorities

  • Create a recruitment plan and calendar according to operation and sales projections

  • Analyze employee performance and appraises their pay scale accordingly

  • Strategize on employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval and initiating activities

  • Administer appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addresses employee grievances

  • Create onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations Requirements

  • Proactive in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

  • 2+ years of human resources experience

  • PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications a plus

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships, influence and interact at all levels across the organization

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

  • Able to manage time well

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
