Infinite Health Collaborative (iHealth) Physical Therapy Supervisor - Viverant Physical Therapy in Duluth, Minnesota

Description Supervise day to day operations at clinic(s) relating to scheduling, project development, staff meetings, and staff development, while reporting issues relating to staff performance or significant patient complaints to manager and/or director. This is a full-time position working M-F with variable hours (likely between 8:00 am - 4:30 pm) out of Viverant Physical Therapy in Duluth. Viverant Physical Therapy is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential Functions: Oversee, monitor and supervise the daily operations of the Physical and Occupational Departments, ensure excellent patient service and delivery of care Evaluate and develop action plans for efficient, ethical, and productive business practices that lead to patient and physician satisfaction while communicating actions to manager/director Communicate the issues that positively and negatively impact day to day operations to direct manager/director Suggest and develop strategies to maximize quality and efficiency in therapy clinics Collaborate with other leadership inside and outside of the immediate clinic(s) being managed Effectively recruit, hire, coach, train, and develop direct reports and ensure the same for indirect reports. Hiring and termination decisions will be ultimately reserved for Director/Manager level with input being accepted from Physical Therapy Supervisor. Ensure required licensures and credentials are validated Maintain safe environment for staff and patients Ensure lawful and ethical use of therapy services in the clinic(s) assigned Mindful of the importance of employee retention Provide constructive feedback to direct reports including casual daily interaction, timely performance appraisals, performance management plans, and appropriate performance counseling as necessary. Effectively perform all duties expected of the profession represented (e.g. Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist), Will include adjusted case load including managerial duties with expectation of maintaining 80% patient caseload Consults with Director/Manager level on significant purchases for department (e.g. expenses >$1000/month) Accepts and utilizes direct feedback from Director on expense management when called upon to do so Any and all other duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree required Master's/Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy Preferred 3 years of experience practicing physical/occupational therapy, experience in orthopedic setting strongly preferred Essential Requirements: Ability to: Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines. Complete job required training.
