Program Summary

The Fort Irwin National Training Center is a major training area for the United States military and is located in the Mojave Desert in northern San Bernardino County, California. KBR provides maintenance and logistics services to customers at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, California to support the U.S. Army building brigade combat team readiness with ten annual training rotations.

Job Summary

As the Logistics Supervisor – ASP, you will plans, organizes, and leads day to day activities for the Theater Ammunition Supply Point (TASP) at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California; is r esponsible for directing logistics activities in the area of ammunition support services by performing a broad array of assignments relating to the procurement of receipts, inventory/accountability, initial issues, turn-ins, ammunition residue storage, inspections, surveillances, maintenance of heavy equipment, property management, transportation activities, technical documentation and other duties associated DOD Class V operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist the department supervisor in accomplishing the short- and long-term goals for the department/function areas.

  • Implement training requirements and monitoring employee performance.

  • Establish production standards, monitor compliance, and recommend operational improvements.

  • Maintain employee compliance with safety policies and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations.

  • Provide oversight of the performance and production output of the entire Class V operation.

  • This work may require uncommon hours of duty, extended hours, nights weekends and holidays.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Must have an Active U.S. Government issued Secret Security Clearance and maintain it for the duration of your employment on this contract. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for this position.

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree. A High School Diploma and at least 12 years of progressive related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and background in ammunition and transportation processes is required.

  • Requires strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Must have in-depth knowledge of the MS Office Suite.

  • Must be able to work under stressful circumstances and meet shorts suspense dates.

  • Must be physically capable of performing the work in conditions of extreme temperatures, low humidity, rain and blowing sand and dust.

Pay

  • $83,100 - $124,600 annually.
