Integrated Services of Kalamazoo HR Generalist in Kalamazoo, Michigan

What You Will Be Doing As the HR Generalist you will work as part of our team to provide support and exemplary customer service to our employees and supervisors. This is a true generalist role where you will be responsible for all areas of HR for your assigned departments including recruitment, facilitating new hire orientation, benefits administration, FMLA/ADA/Workers' Compensation, employee relations, performance management and compensation. You will have the opportunity to be involved in projects that impact our employee culture such as job fairs, various recruitment initiatives, DEI&B initiatives, and agency committees. What We Require Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field with a minimum of one year of HR experience is required. HR Certification strongly desired (PHR/SHRM-CP). We are looking for someone who has strong customer service, organizational skills, critical thinking skills, and is detail oriented. You will need to have experience with MS Office programs as well as using an HRIS system (UKG Ready experience preferred).Prior experience with recruitment, ATS systems and sourcing CRM software. Knowledge of labor laws including FLSA, FMLA, and ADA. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfortable presenting to small groups. Salary will be commensurate with education and years of HR experience.
