Perform arboriculture tasks including planting, pruning, weeding, fertilizing, pest control, and aerial arbor work, ensuring high-quality care of shrubs, turf, and perennials.

Care for specialized plant collections.

Conduct turf care, such as mowing, addressing disease and pest control, and suggesting and implementing soil improvement.

Perform landscape maintenance, renovations, and repair for projects, such as benches, marker posts, brick paving, fines, paths, picnic tables, retaining walls, and fencing.

Remove snow and ice from steps, sidewalks, ramps, drives, and other areas using manual and powered equipment.

Assist leadership with work preparation, organization, and scheduling.

Reserve necessary equipment and maintain essential records, including plant documentation, vehicle mileage logs, work orders, and OSHA and EPA chemical records.

Record pesticide applications accurately and manage cost estimates and time entry.

Train and mentor other staff and students, providing feedback on their performance.

Ensure safe operation and maintenance of various landscape tools and equipment, such as tractors, snowplows, sprayers, trucks, loaders, and mowers, including upkeep of hand tools.

Utilize digital systems for form generation, time management, and email communication.
