Security & Emergency Services Supervisor

Days & Nights positions available

We are looking for an emergency medical services professional with solid leadership experience and security skills to join our management team. Our community offers a friendly, mission-driven, team oriented environment which is what truly sets us apart from the rest.

The SES Supervisor provides leadership support of the Security and Emergency Services Program; including the Security, Emergency Medical Response, Safety/Life Safety, Emergency Preparedness and Prevention/Outreach Programs.

In this role, you will oversee the operations of the shift with a staff of 13+ direct reports. You will be responsible for hiring, training, staff development, performance planning, and payroll. Working as an active Officer, Dispatcher, and Administrator, will require strong leadership, communication, and computer skills, and the ability to pivot quickly.

Valid driver’s license is required

Day position 7:00a - 7:00p or Night position 7:00p-7:00a

Week 1 = Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday

Week 2=Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

Compensation: commensurate with experience starting at $27/ hour

How you will make an impact:

  • Responsible for the Security of the Community through the use of gatehouse, patrols, access control, visitor/contractor registration, key management, and other programs

  • Monitors safety programs to include; Security Department safety inspections, responses to workplace accidents, hazard communication programs, respiratory mask fit testing programs, and others as needed.

  • Partners with SES Manager to update and maintain the Emergency Preparedness Plans

  • Ensure completion of Incident Reports, daily shift reports and responds to calls for service.

  • Assists in hiring, training, coaching, counseling of employees

  • Establishes schedules, reviews and approves timesheets, completes performance evaluations.

  • Provides daily leadership, supervision, motivation, and communication to direct and indirect reports

What you will need:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.

  • 2+ years experience in an SES Management role or 1 year of demonstrated leadership in an Erickson SES Supervisor/Assistant Manager role is required.

  • 1+ years experience working in an Emergency Responder role

  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

  • Emergency Medical Responder Certification
