TEL Staffing Accounting Coordinator in Pensacola, Florida

TEL Staffing is hiring anAccounting Coordinatorfor ourPensacolaoffice.

Position Summary Under the direct supervision of the Accounting Supervisor, the Accounting Coordinator is expected to apply a thorough understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structure to all duties and tasks. The Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for processing accounting and banking transactions, completing assigned clerical tasks and maintaining records in an efficient and accurate manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this classification. The omission of an essential function does not preclude management from assigning duties not listed herein if such functions are a logical assignment to the position. Review daily bank transactions Post cash receipts - Client and other payments received Process ACH transactions - invoices and direct deposits Reconcile bank accounts with general ledger Reconcile and process all payroll taxes (federal state, local); prepare and file payroll tax returns Assist with quarter-end and year-end closing Interact with other departments to ensure data integrity and to resolve issues as needed Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned Process child support and garnishment payments Reconcile various general ledger accounts Other duties as needed

Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or General education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of educations and experience

SCHEDULE |Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
