4+ DAYS REMOTE per week. Randstad is excited to be partnering with a global leader as they seek to hire a Category Manager for their dynamic team. This position is an add-to-staff opportunity. Our client is seeking an Analyst with solid analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should possess SAP and Power BI experience. This role plays an important part in analyzing industry information and data across various systems to develop actionable insights that drive their business forward. This position will work 4+ days REMOTE - after training. This will be my 6th search with this client. Responsibilities

  • Utilize internal, customer, and syndicated data systems to analyze data and identify risks/opportunities/trends and other meaningful business insights.

  • Demonstrate solid analytical and organizational skills to manage and interpret datasets.

  • Compliment data research with other sources of consumer/shopper/industry research to support a wide-angle point of view on the direction of the category and white space opportunities for future growth.

  • Present findings and recommendations to broader sales, marketing, and R&D functions to inform decision-making.

  • Ad hoc market and competitive research support for new product evaluation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and implement strategies for growth.

  • Support the development of standardized and customized selling presentations (decks) that report on business trends and communicate company selling strategies.

  • As the successful candidate builds a knowledge base around our internal operations and our external industry growth objectives, the individual may contribute to other ad hoc cross-functional projects around business forecasting, assortment optimization, pricing and margin expansion strategies, promotional planning, and business development. The position is designed to offer cumulative professional growth opportunities to increase the individual's overall effectiveness and impact on the business.
