Providence St. Joseph Health Network Engineer II IS in Renton, Washington

Description We are currently offering remote work from one of our footprint states which are inclusive of AK, WA, OR, MT, CA and or TX Network Engineers work in partnership with developers, testers, and program managers, (typically early in the development process) to design, operate, grow, and improve large-scale, computer-based services offered to IS, non-IS and clinical caregivers. Their technical skills are on par with their Development, Test, and Program Management counterparts. Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering. Or equivalent educ/experience. Experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes. Scripting with one of PowerShell, Perl, Ansible, VB Script, Python, SQL. Experience with n-tier solutions. Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually). Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Healthcare environment.
