ABOUT THE ROLE

At CoStar Group, the Logistics Manager plays a critical role in supporting our residential photographers that capture media for the Homes.com product.  Reporting to the Director of Logistics, we are looking for a Logistics Manager who will lead and inspire a growing team of Residential Photography Coordinators.  This individual’s mandate will be to ensure timely delivery of residential media on the Homes.com platform. They will need to bring a strong operational mindset, leadership, and ingenuity to the position. This role will be based out of our Richmond, VA office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of dispatcher and schedulers to support the coordination our photographers and Homes.com member agents.

  • Your primary objective will be to efficiently allocate resources, coordinate schedules and streamline communication for our member agents.

  • In addition, you will optimize our photographers route planning to meet the customer demand.

  • Develop and implement efficient dispatching and scheduling processes.

  • Monitor daily operations, including photographer assignments, route planning, delays and cancellations and ensure on-time appointments.

  • Address and resolve member agent concerns as delays occur.

  • Ability to work in fast-pace, high demand, customer facing situations.

  • Create standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with Photography, Product, and Engineering to optimize timely and consistent service to Homes.com Member Agents.

  • Establish and operate with a customer service experience (first call resolution mindset)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors required.

  • 3-5 years of experience leading teams (8+) against deadlines and deliverables

  • Professional logistics experience

  • Strong knowledge with route optimization and dispatch software

  • Proficient in CRM software

  • Proven track record driving accountability in a metric driven organization

  • Ability to collaborate across functional areas to deliver assignments.

  • 3-5 years of leading a 5/8+ employees

  • Experience in professional logistics

  • Experience with route planning

  • Ability to work some weekends

  • Strong problem solving skills
