Robert Half HR Generalist in San Marcos, California

Description

We are working with a growing business in the apparel design industry and looking for a driven HR Generalist to join their team and play a key role in all aspects of their people strategy. This is a hybrid work model with Mondays and Fridays as remote days.

Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and making hiring decisions.

  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, managing conflict resolution, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

  • Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

  • Full-Cycle Payroll: Process payroll accurately and efficiently, reconcile payroll deductions, and compliance with tax regulations.

  • HR Management: Handle a wide range of HR responsibilities, including onboarding new hires, performance management, and training and development.

  • Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations across multiple states.

  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR initiatives that support the company's strategic goals.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.

  • Proven experience with all aspects of the HR lifecycle, including full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, full-cycle payroll, and HR compliance.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems (a plus).

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • A passion for building strong relationships and fostering a positive company culture.
