About the Role

The Global Purchasing Controller provides controlling expertise to ensure correct reporting and support company’s business objectives. As a member of ME’s Purchasing Control Team, he/she drives KPIs, support business development activities (e.g. thru business insight, analysis and reports). The Controlling team provide in depth analysis and understanding of purchasing data, results and forecast, organizing follow ups and drive the organization towards the defined measurements & KPIs in a consistent way aligned with Corporate Standards and definitions.

Your Responsibilities

Acting as Controller for the function, assure definitions and reporting are implemented and well understood within and outside the organization. Facilitate functions reporting, consolidation (according to Purchasing Control Manual and various KPIs) and analysis of actuals and forecast. Drive the harmonization, reporting and forecasting and continuous improvement of controlling activities to support the company’s operating model and objectives.

Additional Responsibilities (as assigned by manager):

  • Prepare and consolidate the function budget, headcount, reporting and finance alignment

  • Support Divisions in their reporting and Purchase data management following the global process and Controlling methodology

  • Facilitate and assure correct reporting according to function’s organization ie., Category, Product Area, Program and Indirect

  • Support functions strategic initiatives and governance by controlling, analysis, reports and development

  • Facilitate strategic meetings & forums

  • Drive functions standardization, format, communication and channels in close collaboration within Business Office

  • Monitor Purchasing systems and support development of functions master data process (supplier creation, price maintenance, category structure etc.)

  • Drive the functions ESG scope by defining measurables, monitor, track and report in close collaboration with Process & Procedures

  • Proactively develop the Forecast Process and Scenarios, commercial and/or supply capacity, to identify risk and potential

  • Supply base controlling, Master Data management, Supply Risk and Capacity Analysis

  • Represent and align with functions in the areas of key responsibilities (SIOP, Operations, Finance, Purchasing, IT etc)

  • All and any other task as assigned by direct manager

Who we are looking for

Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration – Required

Your preferred qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience from a large multinational corporation, preferably within supply chain and controlling

  • Systems experience: ERP (preferably SAP), Excel, PowerPoint and other global systems such as PLM, PowerBI

  • Strong analytical skills and data visualization, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across functions

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building abilities

  • Global Company, Automotive and/or tech industry experience preferred
